Should You Choose Black Or Colored Tattoo Designs

Once you have decided on what Tattoo Designs that you want, the next step which is often the hardest, is to make the decision of if you are going to choose black or colored ink.  Of course some choices, such as Tribal Tattoo Designs will traditionally be in all black but what about the others?How do you chose for example, color palettes for butterfly tattoo designs?  There are some individuals that prefer a realistic looking butterfly that will be created to mimic the specific species but then there are others who want to wear a fantasy-like butterfly with varieties of vibrant, unrealistic colors and patterns.  However, color is not your only choice with this flying insects, there are plenty of people that will choose tribal Butterfly Tattoo Designs that are created in all black ink.Another good example of tattoos that look striking in both solid black ink as well as in color are dragon tattoo designs.  Then a prime example of tattoos that are almost always done in color are flower tattoo designs.There are a few advantages of choosing black ink being that it is usually less expensive than color and the black ink takes longer to fade.  Of course tattoos of color are stunning, they do tend to fade a bit quicker, especially if you are not consistent with applying sunblock when you are outside.  Black ink also offers much sharper lines so for detail work or writing, it is usually the preferred option.There is a lot more to consider when choosing your tattoo designs than you might think.  If you are really struggling with color choice, consider starting out with black and then add color later on or discuss color choices with your tattooist.  They will usually be able to recommend a color palette that you will love.
